INS developed the Fundamentals of Infusion Therapy program to demonstrate basic principles of insertion, care, and maintenance of vascular access devices (VADs). Personalized for you and your staff’s immediate needs and taught by our infusion experts, attendees will attain crucial skills to facilitate today’s challenges.

Who Benefits from the Program?

Companies, hospitals, and institutions who want to provide comprehensive group training of infusion therapy will benefit from Fundamentals of Infusion Therapy. Attendees will come away with a deeper understanding of infusion therapy as well as the knowledge and skills they can use immediately regardless of practice setting.

Program Overview

INS will work with you to develop a program that suits the needs of your staff. Before training begins, we’ll perform a detailed needs assessment to help us tailor a program specifically for you. Then we’ll schedule a time to train your group in one dedicated session.

On site, you’ll be taught by skilled infusion professionals. They will focus first on educating your staff on the theories of infusion nursing and then complement that education with a mentored, hands-on practical application. Attendees will be given a patient scenario and will apply concepts of infusion therapy to support a patient outcome.
