Mary Alexander, MA, RN, CRNI®, CAE, FAAN Mary Alexander is the Chief Executive Officer of the Infusion Nurses Society (INS) and the Infusion Nurses Certification Corporation (INCC). As CEO, she also serves as the Editor of the Journal of Infusion Nursing. Ms. Alexander has served the organization in a wide variety of roles at the local and national levels, including terms on the INS Board of Directors and several committees. The INS Board of Directors appointed Ms. Alexander to her current position as CEO in 1997.
Christopher Hunt Chris Hunt manages INS’ operational activities including marketing and communications, education, membership, meetings, certification and technology management. He is responsible for the overall management of the INS staff and volunteer infrastructure as well as new business development. Accounting
Michaelle Frost Michaelle is responsible for all activities related to finance and human resources at INS, INCC, and the Gardner Foundation. She maintains procedures and control over revenue and expenditures, assists in preparing the annual budget, prepares financial reports, and administers employee benefit programs.
Chelsea McCue Chelsea assists the Accounting Manager by increasing the efficiency of operations within the Finance Department. Her responsibilities include the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash receipts, administration, and light general ledger entry. Education
Michelle Berreth, RN, CRNI® Michelle serves as a clinical resource for the INS membership and other healthcare professionals. She is responsible for the clinical content development of INS’ continuing education programs in compliance with ANCC Commission on Accreditation criteria.
Nancy Delisio, RN Please note: If you have a clinical question for our nursing staff, do not submit by e-mail. All INS member clinical questions must be submitted online via the Clinical Nursing Forum in the INS Knowledge Center. This is the most efficient way to have your clinical question answered. Meetings
Heather Sampson, CMP Heather is responsible for the management of all activities related to the logistical planning and implementation of INS’ national meetings. She also serves as a resource and meeting advisor for education programs, local INS committee meetings, and INS staff. Contact Heather for information on sales of advertising space, exhibit booth sales, and sponsorship opportunities for INS meetings.
Meghan Cavanaugh Meghan assists in the planning of INS’ national meetings. Working directly with hotels and convention centers, Meghan coordinates all meeting logistics, including hotel and travel arrangements, and is also responsible for the planning of all INS and INCC Board and Committee meetings. Meghan also assists with exhibit and sponsorship sales for INS meetings. Membership
Jason Beal Jason oversees the INS Membership Department and the Marketing Services division of INS. In addition to ensuring your membership experience with INS is a positive one, he also manages the daily operations of the INS Membership Services Department, serves the needs of over 40 chapters and their members worldwide, and develops product and membership marketing campaigns. Susan Richberg Susan manages the INS computer and phone systems, processes all UPS and USPS shipping, and manages a number of different membership mailings. Susan also assists the Membership Services Department with special projects and programs as needed. Publications
Dorothy Lohmann Dorothy directs the editing and production of INS’ publications. She is the managing editor of the Journal of Infusion Nursing, and is also the editor of the member newsletter, Newsline. Diane Rann Diane is responsible for all activities related to the design of INS marketing materials. She also maintains the INS Web site and designs the collateral educational materials for INS national meetings. Infusion Nurses Certification Corporation (INCC)
Julie Smiley Julie Smiley serves as Certification Manager for the Infusion Nurses Certification Corporation (INCC), which administers the exam for the Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI®) credential. Julie is responsible for coordinating INCC’s administrative infrastructure, managing public awareness campaigns, and acting as a liaison with INCC’s volunteer councils and committees.
