Editorial Review Board

The Journal of Infusion Nursing’s Editorial Review Board is made up of experts in infusion therapy, management, research, pharmacology, infection control, and other areas related to the specialty. Reviewers are not required to be members of INS.

Each submitted manuscript is reviewed by three or more reviewers, who evaluate the manuscript’s clinical content, looking for errors of fact or interpretation, leaps in logic, sound research methods, up-to-date references, and overall organization. Reviewers do not copyedit articles for spelling, grammar, or terminology, unless it impedes readability of the article.

Applications to the Board are accepted on a rolling basis; however, there are a limited number of openings on the Board at any given time and applicants should only apply if they are willing to make themselves available to review several times a year. Reviewers are encouraged to submit an original manuscript to the Journal once every three years. INS believes that reviewers are best able to judge the work of others when they are engaged in scholarship of their own.
