The INS 2026 Annual Meeting & Exhibition had a more intimate feel in Louisville, KY. The city was easy to navigate, incredibly walkable, and full of local charm. The Galt House provided a warm and welcoming home base, with plenty to do both inside the hotel and just steps away.

Exceptional Educational Programming
The conference began with a warm and inspiring welcome from INS President Jannifer Stovall, MBA, BSN, RN, CRNI®, IgCN, who energized the room and set the tone for a week of learning and connection.

She was followed by an outstanding opening session featuring Barb Nickel, APRN-CNS, CCRN, CRNI®, Marlene Steinheiser, PhD, RN, CRNI®, and Victor Rosenthal, MD, PhD, who provided a global perspective on the Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice. Through international case studies and patient scenarios, the session brought real-world insights to life. Along with a few memorable moments from Felix and Betty, which had the audience both engaged and laughing.

And that only scratches the surface. With more than 50 educational sessions, it’s impossible to highlight them all, but each contributed to the program’s depth and success. Sessions were led by 75 distinguished clinicians, researchers, and subject matter experts. Topics spanned vascular access device selection and management, infection prevention, patient safety, infusion-related complications, and emerging innovations shaping the future of the specialty.

Inside the Exhibition Hall
The Exhibit Hall Happy Hour provided an energetic start to the meeting.

Attendees enjoyed networking over signature drinks crafted by the hotel and delicious Kentucky Hot Browns. One of the biggest hits of the evening was our caricature artist, Sunny, who kept everyone laughing with her incredible talent and fun energy. It was a relaxed, joyful start to a great week.

INS is proud to partner with industry organizations and companies that join us in the Exhibit Hall. Whether they are participating for the first time or returning year after year, these partnerships are a vital part of the Annual Meeting experience, helping to foster meaningful connections, spark conversations, and support the ongoing advancement in infusion therapy.

Making Connections & A Little Competition!

Networking remained a cornerstone of the conference, with attendees connecting across specialties and practice settings to exchange ideas and strengthen professional relationships that will extend well beyond Louisville. Most importantly, INS 2026 brought out everyone’s competitive side in the best way possible!

  • Guidebook Mobile App Leaderboard
Attendees climbed the ranks simply by engaging with the mobile app. The more you used it, the more points you earned. By the end of the meeting, our top users were true mobile app pros. Congratulations to our winners and runners-up!
  • Run for the Roses
Attendees were on the move, searching throughout the Galt House for hidden roses. Each discovery brought a mix of excitement, surprise, and plenty of smiles.
  • Exhibit Hall Passport
Visiting booths became its own challenge, with attendees aiming to complete their passport by stopping at every exhibitor. Those who did were entered to win a grand prize, which created a fun and meaningful way to connect attendees and exhibitors.
  • INS Standards Gaming Session
A lively and interactive way to engage with the Standards of Practice, bringing both learning and laughter into the mix. This session combined education with entertainment in a way that kept attendees on their toes.

Leadership & Volunteers
INS leaders and volunteers came together for a special appreciation reception, where INS CEO Chris Hunt, MBA, recognized the incredible dedication and impact of our volunteer community. His message was clear: INS is stronger because of the people who give their time and passion to the organization.

The evening also featured heartfelt remarks from President Jannifer Stovall, MBA, BSN, RN, CRNI®, IgCN, who shared her commitment to leadership and mentorship. In a meaningful moment, she graciously passed the gavel to President-Elect Amber Webb, MSN-HI, RN, CRNI®. The night was filled with gratitude, inspiration, and plenty of laughter.
